Great place to unwind, staff are very professional and always go that extra mile to see to everyone's needs. The coffee is my favourite, fresh and hot Would recommend to anyone of all ages.

Was not impressed with this place. I came to do work to my items on a wall. Annoying the wall I wanted to get to was behind the manager who was having a private meeting on her laptop with someone. She would not let me do my weekly work to the wall because she was in the way and the wall was behind her. That moment is and only the time of the week I am able to do my work to the wall. If I was you and having a meeting I would not be in the cafe where other people can hear your conversation and work. She did not make my day the manager.

We popped into the Hub for a quick snack and to have a poster displayed on their community notice board. We were made very welcome and the food was great 👍. They even made me a gluten-free cheese and onion toastie! The cakes are home baked, and the atmosphere is wonderful. We shall certainly be going back for more.

Outstanding pillar of the community. An amazing building which has benefited from serious investment. Local suppliers goods stocked in the marketplace. Hot desking and Co working, training venue, community events. Home to Celebrate Difference social Enterprise and MINT business club. Really friendly and knowledgeable staff. Always a warm welcome. The best teas and coffees too. Great place.

That’s right, every drop of coffee, every crumb of cake, every gift from the shop… it all supports an incredible team of people doing awesome things.

The HUB Consett is owned and operated by Celebrate Difference – a social enterprise set up to support neurodivergent people in business. Our office team is based upstairs and their focus is on helping people, through a number of initiatives including obtaining and managing Access To Work funding, training, coaching, mentoring neurodivergent business owners, and helping young people into – or to learn about – the world of work.
