Today, 1st July 2022, Market Place at The HUB Consett officially opened its doors for the first time.
Market Place is a shop filled with products made or sold by local independent businesses, all of whom are members of MINT Business Club with many members signing up just for the Market Place showcase membership.
We started the day at 8.30am with other local Consett business owners, who had been invited to join us for coffee and networking before the shop opened.
Then, at 10am we opened the shop.
Nicola Jayne Little, founder of MINT Business Club and The HUB Consett, said: “Today has been amazing. A stream of people through the door all day, coming for a neb just to see what we’re about.
“We’ve signed up new members, made new business friends and most importantly sold lots of products on behalf of our members.”
Market Place will be open Tuesday to Saturday between 10am and 2pm and will help to subsidise The HUB and the various networking and events activities that will be held throughout the year.
